Cloprostenol (sodium) 250 μg.
Target species
Cows, sows.
Indications
Cows:
- Interruption of pregnancy until day 150.
- As part of the treatment of chronic endometritis and or pyometra in the postpartum period.
- Control of the heat.
Sows:
- Induction of labor as of day 113 of gestation.
Dosage and administration route
Intramuscular injection.
Cows:
- Interruption of pregnancy: 2 ml of SINCROCELIVEN (equivalent to 500 μg of cloprostenol) during the first 5 months of gestation causes abortion in the animal, with the expulsion of the fetus on the fifth day after treatment.
- As part of the treatment of chronic endometritis and/or pyometra in the postpartum period: 2 ml of SINCROCELIVEN (equivalent to 500 μg of cloprostenol). At 10 days a second injection will be administered.
- Control of estrus: 2 ml of SINCROCELIVEN (equivalent to 500 μg of cloprostenol) after diagnosing the presence of the corpus luteum by rectal palpation. If after the first injection no estrus is observed in the animal, administer a second injection 11 days after the first injection.
Sows:
- Induction of labor as of day 113 of gestation: 0.7 ml of SINCROCELIVEN (equivalent to 175 μg of cloprostenol).
Withdrawal period
Meat:
- Cattle and swine: 1 day.
Milk:
- Cattle: 0 days.
