Iron (III) 200 mg (as an iron (III) dextran complex).
Target species
Swine (piglets).
Indications
Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia.
Dosage and administration route
Deep intramuscular injection.
Prevention: between the 1st and 4th day of age, administer 100-150 mg of iron/animal (equivalent to 0.5-0.75 ml of medicine / animal). If necessary, repeat the dose at 10 -15 days from the first administration.
Treatment: 200 mg dextran iron/animal in a single dose (equivalent to 1 ml of medicine/animal).
Withdrawal period
