Indications
Broad spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment of pigs infested by nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract:
Hyostrongylus rubidus (mature and immature forms).
Oesophagostomum spp (mature and immature forms).
Ascarids: Ascaris suum (mature forms).
Dosage and administration route
Oral administration, mixed with the feed.
The normal dose is 5 mg of fenbendazole/kg b.w., administered in a single dose, equivalent to 1.2 g of medicine/10 kg b.w.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 3 days.
